Never used that box before. It worked perfectly. Thanks!

Well I can’t afford particular right now, so I’m going to give John’s idea a try. Thanks John. I prefer the smoke to go a little slower, but I’ve already got that part figured out. I’ve never used layer maps, but I’m sure I can find a tutorial somewhere.

Thanks. I’ll see what I can find. I did try a couple of other warp things like DE Freeform, but it didn’t really work the way I wanted.

Thank you Stephen. I do like the film look. Although, I wonder if I can really tell the difference ––– I even have an MFA in film, given back in the days when film and video had nothing to do with each other.

So now can you tell me what fields are? Also, I’ve heard that faster frame rates can give you smoother animation. Is this true?

    Thanks, Ellen

See that’s the thing. I only want to change the Z axis and not the y and x. I can drag it, but I’m wondering how I got that little box that said “move”.

Thanks for this. But for an instant I was trying to move a keyframe and a little message box popped up that said “move” and it had a timeline number in the box. But I don’t remember what I was pressing or had clicked on when I got this box. Wondering what that was. Any idea? I think I’d like to know.

Wow, how easy was that! And I’ve spent hours and hours trying to figure this one out. Mark, thanks so much! I’ll keep a look out for those blue dots in the future.

I’d love for you to look at it. Not quite sure how to upload it. I uploaded it, using “file upload”. Maybe this link will work 404_birdandtree.motn.zip
