Played on me Android, this got me close. The range select doesn’t allow for me to modify levels but going to menu > modify > levels raises and lowers the keyframes for the whole audio track. ALthough it is weird, when using ‘relative’ some keyframes seem to go up or down more than others.

This is a hacky way of doing it but it gets me close, thanks for your help!

I tried that but no cigar, I will try again. In the meantime the screenshot would be helpful.

    Thank!

Did you ever figure out how to do this? This would be really handy, been searching for the answer for 15 minutes now.

    Hey Matt,

Thanks for making this thread. I too was all excited about the big marketing hype from Apple about being able to send stuff to compressor from within FCP. FOr some reason I thought that included using Quickclusters. I just tried various forms of “send to” and share with no cigar. So maybe this will help some more people searching for stuff like this. It is good to at least know that I have to do the old export reference movie and back into compressor.

You nailed it David! I had 2.0.1 version of the CalDigit RAID Card drivers installed and the latest version is 2.0.7. I pulled out all hard drives in my raid array and booted up, FCP 7 finally boots up, then I installed the new drivers and put the drives back in and everything appears to be stable.

FYI, I did a clean install of Snow Leopard 10.6.5 and Final Cut Pro 7 and it has been crashing since day 1. I think I had it running once, but most of the time it just hangs and activity monitor says “not responding” and I have to force quit it.

Apple puts up a great image of user experience and even blocks others from installing their OS on non-approved hardware, it makes sense they have a hard time getting it working on their own hardware.

I sent in at least 20 error reports so far, so hopefully that will help them. Btw, I really dislike Apples policy of not letting developers interact with the public. Talked about closed.

You nailed it! Bloody render files again! I am beginning to think a general rule for FCP is “Did you flush render files?”.

Also the checkboard tip was very helpful in actually making sure the render files are cleared. My preferred .png export works great!

    Thanks again!

Thank! This saved me some frustration just now.

  • Me too, Leonardo!

At least this thread confirms it for me though.

Thanks Shane, if I wanted to take my finished export to the web would I just de-interlace in compressor then?
