I call it ajah. Sounds cooler.
Edit – Actually more like (ah-jhah)

Motion doesn’t seem to be showing the .ai file. I was having success with the logo in an 1080p sequence but when I take that .psd and put it an ntsc dv project it is sruggling with scaling. Very aliased. I have played with different scale and axis values.
Now FCP just crashed. Please Apple, provide universal file support. At least the popular ones.

Well, I just exported the *.ai to a *.pct as well and even though the finder preview shows transparency, no go in FCP.
Then I exported an *.psd from the *.ai and it seems to work, although after an extensive undo session FCP just crashed on me.
So I guess *.psd is the only way I can get transparency in although definitely not vector.
Would be nice if FCP took *.ai, *.eps and *.pct.

I am trying to import a png with alpha and that doesn’t even seem to be taking.

March 18, 2009 at 8:04 pm in reply to: How do I color correct just the top third of a clip without making another track?Ok, I just patched up the whole clip and now my render time is slashed in half!
This taught me a lesson and I will make sure to shoot the right way next time! It was tough with this camera because I had to shoot it on a HF10 with no full manual control plus the HF10’s LCD screen is a big fat lier! Everything looks so great on it when you are shooting.

I have no experience with this but a HMC-150 is only a bit more than you what have saved now. Take a look at it and see if it interests you.

I want to add to this that sometimes if you uncheck filters in sequence settings>render control. And in your user preferences you have it set to auto-render or you somehow rendered your timeline with the filters box unchecked. It will create rendered timeline files that do not match your desired timeline because it was rendered without filters.
It is very easy to see in mine since the greenscreen pops up in certain sections and this is how I learned about this bug but if you just have slight color correction etc you may not notice it.
So another reason to rerender fresh is if you turn off the filter while you are working your TL. I do it because Primatte Keyer Pro is so unbearably slow it it makes all my actions extremely slow.

It does seem that so far I am at least not looking over something blatantly obvious.
