    Hi Tim,

From the slowness you mentioned, it sounds like your graphics card driver may be outdated. Try going to your video card manufacturer’s web site and downloading the latest driver. Also, if you are working with a really complicated project, you can also go into the Invigorator Preferences window and turn off the setting “Use GL Shaders for Draft/Final Mode”. This will reduce the amount of calculations needed for all the maps that are used in the project. In addition, when you have a lot of objects, you can switch your display to wireframe and it should speed everything up. To turn the visibility on for multiple objects, you can drag the mouse down across the visibility eyeball and it will turn on the visibility for all layers you drag across.

    Hope this helps.

August 15, 2013 at 5:21 pm in reply to: Invigorator Classic wire frame render

    Hi Malcolm,

Were you using 3D Invigorator PRO previously? 3D Invigorator Classic does not support different rendering styles such as wireframe, absolute coloring, etc. If you were using 3D Invigorator PRO or ProAnimator in the past, this would explain why you were able to see these features, but not see them now.

Hope this clarifies the situation. If you have any questions, please let me know.

    Hi Bhuvani,

What version of 3D Flag are you currently running and what version of After Effects are you working with? You may be using an older/outdated version of the plug-in. You can download the latest versions of our software by going to https://zaxwerks.com/download/

August 15, 2013 at 5:17 pm in reply to: Font problem in Invigorator Pro V6

    Hi Mike,

I wonder if the fonts may not have been installed properly. Are you able to see all the fonts in your Windows > Fonts folder? Also, when you re-installed Windows, did you install the same version of Windows 7, or was this an update from a different version of Windows?

Have you tried using these fonts in different programs such as Illustrator and see if they are working? Are you able to print a document using these fonts? Sorry for all these questions. I’m trying to get a better understanding of what may be causing the issue on your system.

    Hi Mike,

Is this happening with system fonts such as Arial, Times Roman, etc? If so, are you using any type of font manager program? If you are using a font manager program, you may be running into this issue because the location of your fonts are in a different location. If you do not have any problems using fonts such as Arial, you may be running into a problem where the font you downloaded has the display font but not the print font. This means, the font shows up, but does not contain the outlines. In this case, you would need to bring the font into Illustrator or Photoshop to get the outline, then save it as an Illustrator file. After saving the Illustrator file, you can import the file into Invigorator PRO.

    Hi Hans,

I’m not sure what you are seeing. Can you send a screen shot to me at ed@zaxwerks.com? Also, try going into the Invigorator Preferences window and turn off the setting Use GL Shaders in Draft/Final mode. Does this help with what you are running into?

Also, when applying Invigorator for Photoshop, it’s best to apply the filter onto a Smart Filter layer instead of directly on an image. So, to do this, create a new layer first, then convert the layer to a smart filter layer. If you’re still having problems, please send the project file to me and I’ll take a look.

  • Hi Gary,

Thanks for the feedback. We’re aware of this issue and are looking into a fix.

In the mean time, as a workaround, render out your animation using the 3×3 anti-alias setting. Then, if you need, you can apply a blur afterwards. Hope this helps.
