First of all, I would scroll it using the “Positioning” tab in the text generated media. Beyond that, have you tried things like Reduce Interlace Flicker?

Just route both tracks to a single bus and then apply the volume envelope to the bus.

Nope. You can do it all at one time. Click on the square in the upper left hand corner to select EVERYTHING (left of the column headers), copy, and then paste into your target app.

If that’s the only thing on that track and the opacity needs to be at a constant level, I’d probably just adjust the “Levels” slider on the track header.

If a file used by Vegas changes, Vegas should use the changed version.

You would need to modify that script to output in the format you desire.

If you’re simply wanting the events, try this:
Open up Edit – Details
Select “All Events”
Now select everything in that grid and press CTRL-C
Open Excel and press CTRL-V

Is that close to what you want?

This has happened to me ever since I started using Vegas nearly 4 years ago. Not sure exactly what it’s doing when it pauses but it happens on every machine I’ve used.

“The Foal” button has “Auto Activate” set to YES. Change that to NO and all should be well.

If you start a new project, can you come up with a list of steps to duplicate the problem?

It also might be practical to share the DAR file so we can test that file as well.
