The only other format option here is a
    sony,avc,mp4,m2ts,.avc

and there is a blue ray template option then of 1440×1080-60i @15mbps vid stream.

This indicates a 27.41 gig size for the total est size.

    Would this work?

Curious, does studio perhaps reflect that the size won’t because it only assumes single layer disc?

Hope I don’t lose all this work, week on end.

    thanks for your help

I used 1440×1080-60i, 25 mbps template in movie studio.
Render tells me 3.25 hours is 52 gig. Can’t adjust br with studio so may have to pare film down.
How much (timeline time) do you think I would need to pare off to fit dual layer blue ray disc?

I am a little confused, will movie studio timeline burn also leave a .iso file or TS or something that I can then use to burn with say Nero
if I need multiple copies or does vegas ask me if I want to burn another copy?

sorry for the ??? but don’t want all this work to fall into a black hole with wrong settings.

I want to burn 3.25 hours of edited hd video taken with the hdr-hc9 from movie studio 9 time line to a dual layer blue ray disc.

Just to make sure would I use the mpeg2, blue 1440×1080-60i template to render?
How do I render audio to ac3 in the process?

Do you see any issue with dual layer disc here?

    thanks

If I am burning directly to dual layer bd disc from timeline do I need to do anything regarding architect?

    how about settings?

I think you mentioned to me once that you use a media player. May be the way to go.
How would I manipulate the file render to be able to transfer to an external hard drive to then use with a media player

    Thanks Mike

Could I scan them, save as .jpg’s and import to vegas that way?

I opted to leave the lost jpg file off line and movie studio opened the project again just fine. I then deleted the offline file and re imported it from the proj media list.
    Seemed to work just fine.
Should have tried this before I panicked.
Is this .vf file going to render ok for a duel layer blue ray disc from the time line?

thanks. as always, for your help

I meant only to shoot in dv with the hc9 and capture to wmm .avi and then import to vegas, edit and render mpeg2.

    Thanks Theo
Any reason you can think of to leave the reg burner in along side this one, maybe for dubbing or?
