    Hi John

Yes, 9 has also has this.

My problem is getting from it a file that I can burn with img burn to blu ray disc.

What file extension am I looking for from the render that will burn, .iso, vf, vob ???

    So John,

I used the make movie wizard and it only allowed me the sony AVC at 15000 mbps but it did go on to render, compile and burn the blu-ray disc as well as leave behind an iso file that I used to burn more copies with imgburn.

The color is gorgeous, maybe this is as good as it gets with the tools I have.

Did not know that I had to use architect in order to burn blu-raY from the “render as” function.

    thanks

    Thanks for the help Matt.

I see lots of thread history here on this issue, non of which answer the question of where and how to insert the layer break asked for in dvda. Guess I will re render only amount for single layer and forget any dual layer work with sony dvda.\

thank for all of your help though

Having good luck segmenting the video to fit to 4.7 media.

I tried a dual layer again, set dvda to auto place a layer break yet at 66% burn it prompts me to make one.

I don’t know where to go from this point in order to insert one. Do I go back to the render in ms to do this and start from scratch?

Dvda ask you to put it in the title??

    thanks

Yes, 9 comes with dvda bundled. If I choose send to dvda from studio render and there choose burn, will it burn the disc? or will I have to go through the prepare button first.

Do you know if this software will burn to dual layer discs?

    again, thanks for the help

Yes I get the send to Architect option. With it is a “or finished” option which I used.

So the thing is I have to send what and how ever I render to the Architect to get vob files, correct?

What about blu ray, seems like the last one of those I did went to a promt for disc and burned without Architect?

    thanks for the help also

    John

I have a piece ready to render using movie studio platinum 9.
It is standard def and I want to render it so that I can use imgburn to make a dvd.

Does it have to be a blu ray render to get an iso file, suddenly I am lost. Would appreciate your help.

    thanks

I rendered again using the make dvd button. It rendered both mpa and ac3 files but no TS files of any kind.

Will these .mpa and .ac3 file extensions burn with imageburn.

Why am I not getting TS files?

    thanks

    Thank you.

I noticed that I did not use the “burn to dvd” button but rather just rendered.

If I had used the burn dvd button would I have gotten TS files as a result, to then burn?

Indeed I did paste insert the pics into the video track flow. When I panned out here I just got black up and down behind the pics instead of video. I tried setting source props to not match aspect. Helped some but too much distortion as I tried to adjust pic to full screen this way.

    again, thanks for the help
