paul – i have a few days and my problem is that i am working on 2 more projects thats why i was looking for a tutorial or something so it will go faster
what i want to do is not the same 100% like rocknrolla but similar
i want to create it from video and to add the effects only on one frame and than continue the video from the same point that i stopped

if you look on the list of files that don’t require recompress you will see
“DV MXF”
i am confused -
again i am very familiar with vegas codec and my files as i mention are untreated i just rearrange the order of them that is all
the settings of the project and the render are the same as the footage
so the only thing i can assume is what you guys said
THAT SONY VEGAS DOES NOT SUPPORT P2 MXF UNCOMPRESSED RENDER -

mike, the manual does say dv mxf will NOT be recompress
and still it compress it -

i am well known of vegas pro
and i know when there is need for compression
and that is my problem
i just change the clips order, nothing else and still
it compress the footage
and i did try multiple template and codecsany other ideas?

i solved both m problems by key-framing
