after effects splitting and start and end effect
hello everyone,
after i split my layer every change i make on one of the split layers it is still applied on the other one,
how can i use one of the split layers without having affect on the other split layer?another q:
i use shatter effect on one of the layers, but i cant find how to start and end the effect since i don’t want it to be on the entire layer just art of itTHANKS IN ADVANCED

You know you will find your answers here? Great!
You would also find your answers in the help files.For Shatter, you split your layer at the time you want it to start and apply it to the second layer. OR you can keyframe the location of the force so that it doesn’t hit the pieces until you want it to.

i did look at he help files and i looked at the link you posted and still no answer
i solved both m problems by key-framing
