    hi all,
i am using vegas pro 12,
    i have a footage of:
    Video: 00:07:19.200, 25.000 fps interlaced, 720x576x32, DVCPRO
Audio: 00:07:19.200, 48,000 Hz, 16 Bit, Stereo, MXF Audio
    Name: mxfp2.dll
    Folder: C:Program FilesSonyVegas Pro 12.0FileIO Plug-Insmxfp2
    Format: Panasonic P2 MXF
    Version: Version 12.0 (Build 394) 64-bit

my problem is when i am rendering,
i tried all codecs and customized some myself and still
when i am rendering it compress the footage
all my other projects are show “no compression is needed” an it is rendering much faster

how can i render without compression???
    thank you

For supported media, you can only render without compression
if no effects are on the clips and if you are rendering out
to the exact specification and format of the clip thats on
    the timeline.

Looking back on your post, i dont think vegas offers
No recompression support for the new Panasonic P2 MXF format.

The list of formats that won’t recompress is fairly limited.
I posted a screenshot from the manual in the recent no recompression required thread.

mike, the manual does say dv mxf will NOT be recompress
    and still it compress it

eddy, just to clarify, no recompression only works if your source and destination files are identical.
i.e. it won’t work by going from an unrelated format to one on the list.

Again, your renders need to be exact as that of the source
    file eddy.

again i am very familiar with vegas codec and my files as i mention are untreated i just rearrange the order of them that is all
the settings of the project and the render are the same as the footage
so the only thing i can assume is what you guys said
THAT SONY VEGAS DOES NOT SUPPORT P2 MXF UNCOMPRESSED RENDER

[eddy lizi] “so the only thing i can assume is what you guys said THAT SONY VEGAS DOES NOT SUPPORT P2 MXF UNCOMPRESSED RENDER”

P2 MXF isn’t on the format list that I linked to so you are correct.

    thx again mike,
if you look on the list of files that don’t require recompress you will see
    “DV MXF”
    i am confused
