i decided to go through the adobe media encoder and import the sequence throught media encoder. it works but i still do not know why it is not exporting the regular way

Thanks both Daves. I always use Add to Render Queue but don’t really know much about different video files. Now I am going to start reading up on this so I don’t have to ask about them anymore. Thanks a lot guys

I was following the tutorial on forgingfire.com (if you are familiar with that) on how to make an animated flourish. He forgot to tell us how to export the file correctly. I figured out how to import it as footage after working with it for a while but now it imports with the flourish white and has a black background which i didnt want because now I can’t colorize.

Maybe the question I should ask is in what format should I export my flourish?

I asked this question a while back and an ex-professor told me that the AAU in SF didn’t come recommended. There is another school that I have heard great things about and I think it was S.C.A.D.

Thanks for the advice. I was thinking about doing that. I am not the best at after effects right now because I changed my major about 2 years ago (from biology :X) and found out about after effects a year ago but since then I have been working on learning after effects really hard and am happy with the progress I have been making. I really enjoy working with the program and am trying to learn everything I can in a short amount of time.

And it is really cool about growing up in liverpool. I live near Watertown and it is reassuring to know that people from the area are having success in this industry.

I was also wondering about this because my inspiron isn’t quite getting the job done. Even on projects that aren’t big and maybe 10 seconds long my computer freezes and becomes useless.

What should the minimum specs be for a computer to work well with CS3/CS4?

i know what masking is and all but I don’t really knowhow to do it. does anyone know of any tutorials?
