This might’ve been done – just asking – but do you have the continuous rasterization switch on or off?

Can someone explain the Time Echo/Echo effects? I am still at a loss as to what they can do or when to use them?

Well, youve taken it to a whole ‘nother level there…what do the time echo plugins do?

Well the technique I was talking about basically looks like youre pulling the camera from a distance infintely away towards you…ie, the objects zoom past you into inifinity, but maintain their resolution…the Meyers hint at use collapse transformation…but I still dont quite get it…

    hope that helped.

  • From my limited knowledge of the workflow, I’d suggest doing the boxes in Photoshop and bringing the layers into AE as a comp and working on them there. It’ll offer a lot more flexibility, and I suspect, ease of processing/rendering.

There are a number of tutorials and how-tos with respect to formatting for diff resolutions on the Cow, which you can search for. Alternatively, there is a good tutorial on toolfarm that explains formatting stuff for NTSC TV, and I think the same woul dapply for this format as well.

I am an AE newbie, and apologise if I couldnt give you a more substantial answer, but i wasnt 100% clear about what you were trying to achieve so I could point you in a more precise direction.

Roger, can you send me a dumbed down AEP to look at? I’ve been wondering how to achieve the same for a while now.

Hi Joey. I am a newbie to the broadcast world, trying to move into it from a Flash animation/web design background. Could you breakdown what you just said in that post? All I have are an s-video cable, an s-video out port on my card and RCA input on my television. Is there any way I can do stuff in AE and see the result on the TV? I know it’s a simple question, but I need all the help I can get.
