Bummer.
I guess once would not be that noticeable.
Probably the best idea would be to immediately export it to miniDV tape to preserve that quality for future changes (assuming that DVD is the only existing copy).
Now, I wonder what would give me better capture quality, to capture it “live” via S-Video as an AVI file, or to “import” the mpg2 from the dvd.
I’ve never compared them side by side.
