  • The media is ProRes Proxy.

I did try reconnecting and then restarting Premiere, but it didn’t populate the Tape Name field.

  • THAT WAS IT!

    Thanks!

  • I’m not talking jumping between clips in the timeline, I’m talking about clips that reside in bins. It was really nice in FCPX to be able to view all the footage in a bin, and jump between different clips without ever having to reach for the mouse.

  • EXACTLY what I was looking for.

    Thanks so much!!

  • I see, so the Auto-Save doesn’t work like After Effects, which will save every time increment no matter what you’re doing. So, If I’m in the middle of using the app it’s really only considering my saves?

I’m on version Premiere Pro cc 2014.0

I tried the 2014.0.1 update, but something got broken in the Multicam Preview Output with an External Monitor, so I had to roll back to this version.

  • I think the only third party plugin I’ve used so far is Colorista. Does it matter that it isn’t used in the particular sequence I have open? Or is it just project wide.

Yeah, I ended up rolling back to the previous version of Premiere CC 2014. What you have to do is Uninstall, and then have Creative Cloud reinstall, and when it gets to 90% hit the little X to cancel it and it will be the version before this .01 revision. That was what tech support suggested and it worked. I’m back up and running with the other version.

Just updated, and it seems that something is broken in the Multicam Functionality. Now when I switch camera angles in the Source Monitor, it doesn’t change camera angles in the Playback Output for my Second External Monitor. Was working fine before this update today.

Is there a way I can roll back to before the update? I’m doing a big multicam edit right now and this bug is really boning me.

    Anyone else have this issue?

I’m trying to sync up a bunch of clips, and I have 2 camera angles with reference audio and then the audio from our Sound Guy, recorded in Mono, one recorded a bit hotter, and one with a bit more headroom. When I create a multicam Sequence using Audio syncing, it creates a sequence, but then places my audio on the first 2 tracks, one panned to the Left, and one Panned to the right. Then I have to manually go into the sequence, and create new Mono tracks and drag the audio clips to those tracks. This extra work at the tail end is becoming very tedious over the course of syncing many clips.

Is there an easier way to toggle a stereo track mono without having to create and manually move clips around?

Anyone have any thoughts on a way to work with this?
