Apply the High Pass and Low Pass filters.
“There is a high pass filter at around 400 Hz and a low pass filter at around 4,000 Hz (4 kHz). This can obviously be adjusted to taste, but the resulting sound is very midrange heavy and small sounding.”

March 10, 2019 at 1:26 pm in reply to: Can I find out which Gallery grade I applied to a clip?Yes, Nuno, I do name my stills. Mousing over the stills doesn’t help because after applying a grade I’ll naturally have to tweak it a bit, so if I mouse over the stills they’ll never perfectly match.
But between you and Marc’s response it gave me the idea to name my first node after the still, which I also give names too.
Thanks to both of you.

I had the same exact problem a few weeks ago. My method was to left click on the still and drag it onto the node, but at some point it stopped applying the grade. It would create whatever number of nodes were in the still but all of the nodes would have no grading applied to them.
Resolve is always doing weird stuff like this. I found that if I created a new project, it would start working again. I would save a still for each clip in your timeline, and then apply them in the new project. Hopefully you won’t have to go that far as creating a new project, but as a last resort I’ve always found that method works, even for the other quirks that Resolve developed (like OpenFX suddenly not appearing when I click on it).
