  • Can I find out which Gallery grade I applied to a clip?

I have about 15 stills in my gallery. Any one can either look great or terrible when applied to a new clip. I just go through them until I find a great grade. The problem is, 1 or 2 days later, I don’t remember which still I applied to a clip. Is there a way to find out? Hovering over the first node (the one I applied the still grade to) tells me nothing.

No, that feature doesn’t exist. You have to just remember. I honestly don’t care what Gallery still I use as long as the color is good.

    Hi,
You can always do an “opposite” match frame on the clip
If you do a right click on the still. But you have to be positioned
on the right clip…because if not nothing happens…
and then and the most basic one…
you can always give names to your stills….right?
    Cheers.

    Peace!

Hey Marc! Yeah, I agree, but I just got an idea. I’ll just name the first node after the grade I used. I do add labels to them. Thanks for giving my brain a kick in the nuts! 😉

Yes, Nuno, I do name my stills. Mousing over the stills doesn’t help because after applying a grade I’ll naturally have to tweak it a bit, so if I mouse over the stills they’ll never perfectly match.

But between you and Marc’s response it gave me the idea to name my first node after the still, which I also give names too.

    Thanks to both of you.
    Cheers!
