i know shooting lasers i prefer doing in AE
but if i have effect of a plasma or fire ball that look cool in a 3d program wich way is better to render in? the 3d program or AE?

p.s aharon what do u mean render as alpha as straigt?
can i choose what kind of alpha?

can u explain how to use the stamp tool abit?
i tried that it looks ok but i dont think they used it like that

the scene is not that dificult its just a video of the street
but i want the spaceship to cast shadows on the ground and on the people as well like in the 3D day movie
whice one is the best way?
to that in a 3d program or ae?
