    HI everyone
i wanna make a scene of a video of some background
and import a 3D spaceship into the scene and make it land
is there a way in AE to add shadow to the spaceship?
i can import the spaceship with an alpha channel
what’s the best way to do that?
    thanx in advance

If your sence is not very complicated, you can turn the ship&background layer into 3D layer ,then create a light and the ship will be able to cast shadow onto the background. However there is a plugin “EYECANDY effects for AE”can imitate such shadow.IF the sence is too complicated ,maybe you have to add the shadow in the 3D program and import the rendered shadow into AE.
