  • Joseph,
I read both of your articles, and have to say, that if I transition to a Adobe CC workflow, I will definitely use Adobe Bridge. Is the link to the project also embedded in the metadata on a Premiere export?
    Thanks everybody for your answers!

    Give me break!
I can write better advertising copy than that, and I’m a video editor.

I have real doubts that the people at the WWDC will see that image on a Keynote page tomorrow.
    But then again……..

I had a Sony Bvh-2000 1′ machine that I got for free from a post house up in Norcross. I brought it with me when I moved to Texas, as a conversation piece. Ended on giving it to the local Panasonic rep. (to curry favor?). Wish I had it back.

April 23, 2013 at 3:58 am in reply to: Can you do this on the ATEM 2 ME?

    Thanks Chad for your answers.

I am used to Grass Valley and Ross switchers that label the farthest upstream ME as 1 and the downstream MEs as 2 (and on really big switchers 3 &4).

Are the program outputs of both MEs available on the Aux busses? Does ME 2 have clean feed outs?

There are 2 Multistream outputs, can they be configured as to represent the MEs as 2 different switchers? (albeit with one feeding the other)

I love the touch screens. (though the only time I’ve actually touched them is during my once monthly visit to Best Buy.) But I would not want the touch to replace the track pad / mouse totally.

As a Mac user, I have to think there would need to be a significant rewrite of OSX to to accommodate
them so i don’t think we will see them anytime soon. Maybe in OSXI, the lovechild of OSX and iOS.

[John Pale] “Adobe owns my ability to re-edit perpetually.”

Hey Dennis Radeke, can you go a couple of offices down the hall and see if Shantanu Narayen, would like to enter into the discussion to calm Aindreas’ very legitimate concerns?
We all know what happens when Aindreas becomes angry with big corporations! (look what has happened to Apple’s stock price…… Aindreas did that)
I really do wish that the ‘nice friendly Adobe” would speak to this on the level.

[Walter Soyka] “It’s worth noting that there is no direct ProRes encode via QuickTime on Windows — although there are some open-source tools which work pretty well.”

So, does it make sense to create master files as DNxHD for maximum compatibility?

Really? I’ve been curious about what type of work could be done on MacBook Air with FCPX. I never thought about any of the Adobe products running well on one.
