    I’m not sure I understand how the mosaic effect can be used for these? To my eye it is more like each slice of the layer is a new version offset. Or am I missing something?

    Thanks Kalle, an interesting approach. I was hoping however that I could implement it on a non graphic image, any ideas there? In my mind it is sort of like a sphere with an image projected upon it, that has been unwrapped so that the two poles are next to one another rather than above/below.

    Thanks Brian,

    Unfortunately I am running CS 5.5 so am unable to open your example. I have recreated my own with the position of Trapcode Particular parented to a null, with the expression copied into the nulls position. The look I am getting is not as per the example, it still appears to operate only in a 2D space.
