Yes, that would help. But first maybe you could try to render it without the 3D layer you have now and see if everything else works.

It’s very hard to see the full project construction from the screenshots. I think that the best way would be to make some render tests without some layers to see which one is causing the problem.

I have one more issue please ☺

Now I see that it works with all the layers in the composition including layers with the Shy switch On (Invisible in the list)
I would love to make it work with only visible layers in the composition list.

If it’s too much work, this is already perfect!

Hi Dakota,

this issue will happen when mixing 3D with 2D comps. Maybe this is a stupid idea, but I don’t see a camera in you composition. Did you try to add a camera?

Ok, it’s nvidia drivers…. I’ve installed the older version 372.90 and now it’s working! yey 😉

Still not working with updated drivers or CPU…

Well that’s a great card 980Ti, I’m not sure why it doesn’t work.

Yes, I tried CPU still no shadows. I am downloading new nvidia drivers and we’ll see.

So, now what should I do…. hm… I really don’t get it… Do you have any idea? I mean everything is working fine, no crashing no bugs or errors, just NO SHADOWS! hm ☺
