    Thank you..
Please clarify.. The individual FCP icons on my desktop (different projects)….

Is that a “project file” or is that an EDL.. I always thought that the icon I double click to open individual FCP projects was called an EDL…

    cheers

I just spoke with a guy at the MAC store. He said that as long as you are using FCP 5.1, the EDLs should transfer between a POWER MAC and a MAC BOOK PRO…

I want to purchase a MAC BOOK PRO but I need to know for sure that the EDLs can switch BACK & FORTH between these two computers.

Can anybody confirm this. The guy at the MAC store was only 99% sure that the EDLs go both ways.. I need 100% conformation.

    thanks
    for any help..

    Hi MATTE

The EAR PHONE Jack (used for plugging in head phones) stopped working. Well, It worked but it only worked intermittently and only one channel at a time. IT was horrible.. 1 second I could hear AUDIO.. Then a bunch of crackling and then it would go out…. it was useless.

I took the camera in and had it fixed. They piece that was replaced included the earphone jack, the RCA’s, firewire, LANC and S Video. It is all one piece on the PD 150. This is the second time this has been replaced on this camera

    Thanks for your help

ps- sorry I MENT EARPHONE JACK . not “mic jack” sorry for the confusion

I was told that I need to use “special software” if I want to run a RAID 0 configuration.

    Is this true?
Is the software free from Lacie?

    thanks

I was afraid you were going to say that.. I have not had this problem with the sony PD-150.

Can you recomend any camera mounts that help with this problem.. unfortunately, MOST of the time the mic is mounted on the camera.

    thanks
