So the o/p you are getting is directly from the camera head?.If YES, i will suggest you factory reset it in maintenance menu.

have you check on the tape itself?
did you Press in the red record inhibit plug. (“ON”)
Return this plug to its original position to enable recording on the
tape again. (“OFF”)..

thks for your post..

– Basically we are planning to use it in a linear editing facility (TC IN/OUT).
– We are trying to find a compact flash recorder that has RAM scrub” and “RAM repeat” with 1 ms accuracy for precision cueing with advanced jog/shuttle techniques..
– we will like to patch the field recorder with the SONY DIGI-BETA VTR recorder which will control the field recorder.
-As for presence system pls ignore.
Fostex field recorders are capable, but it is not CF card..(fostex PD-606 9PIN Remote D-SUB 9pin, Protocol: Sony 9pin (P2)
