Hello Din and welcome to the Cow Audio Forum,

    Do you mean D/ESAM?

What specific features of the Sound Devices recorders are you trying to control?

What current D/ESAM equipment are you using?

    Regards,

    Ty Ford

    Hi Ty Ford,
    thks for your post..

    – Basically we are planning to use it in a linear editing facility (TC IN/OUT).
    – We are trying to find a compact flash recorder that has RAM scrub” and “RAM repeat” with 1 ms accuracy for precision cueing with advanced jog/shuttle techniques..
    – we will like to patch the field recorder with the SONY DIGI-BETA VTR recorder which will control the field recorder.
-As for presence system pls ignore.
Fostex field recorders are capable, but it is not CF card..(fostex PD-606 9PIN Remote D-SUB 9pin, Protocol: Sony 9pin (P2)
thank you..hope to hear from you soon..

    Rgds:
    Din
