Hi now is me with the same problem I tried all Vince’s suggestions( Cache-Auto save-previews, move files, no import:says dynamic link error, etc etc.) and nothing, I assume I have one Sequence corrupted, because last thing I did was to experiment with a sequence in Cineform mode with a trial of Prospect HD.
Even restoring windows won’t open, there is a way access that timeline and delete it? before opening the project.. I lost 2 full days of editing..!!! please help.

Hi Daniel,
1-be sure all your audio tracks are ON.
2-Sometimes I have some delay in long timelines(more that an hour) when exporting to mpg2-dvd multiplexed with MPG-audio, try export with the audio PCM separate (48khz), later you can convert it to dolby in your dvd software if space is need it.
Good Luck

Hi Buck, I am a Velocity user too, Still have it for my SD work.
I Have the CS4 with Blackmagic. I love the quality of the matrox mini, I wish BM has the same codec-quality. Only thing I do not like about the mini is the upscaling during capturing is not working on Windows (will be in 2010) and I need that because I use 2 differnt formats on HD.
If you have most of your footage in same format M Mini is great!!,
Imagine you are working on the velocity, of course you have to work on you matrox codec template for the sequences, anyway you can bring any other format to the sequences too and watch it on you monitor, Matrox give you the real t. preview. I think is a great product. Dont be afraid of work on matrox codec, the mpg at 150 mb is not too big and look great. let me know, funny we came from the same background dps.
Contact me if you need more help

I have a 6gig of Ram, my disks are less than half and my raid too, I see is a very common problem around, I do not know what to do..apart from that all runs beautiful…
6GIG ram, Vista 64/iCore 7 965, 1 500gig system disk – 1 500gig Media/Project HD and 1 raid 2T for video, all defrag etc.
Maybe try making the project in the RAID?…or system Drive?…All the best!! Diego

August 10, 2009 at 10:48 pm in reply to: moving clips from timeline to project for later useThis is a feature I really miss from my DPS Velocity and I have been wondering the same thing,, from my Velocity I just press f to a edited clip and will send it to your bin in many ways same clip.
In premiere what I am doing is to copy -paste to an aditional Secuence, I call Stuff, to use it later.
I hope works, DiegoDiego
