you should have all you need. Not knowing what you are running, I’m assume its fcp4 and panther? anyway, media 100’s breakout was nice, but you’ll never look back once you get the hang of fcp. anyway, first thing Get Rid of RTmac- it does nothing for fcp4 exept give the mac a headache. the tech is ancient at this point. make sure your computer is up to date and cleaned(trash prefrences,repair permissions etc)and then try the pyro box. inever used one, but that should work. That dvc deck is useless without firewire, so without a router, you have to change deck based on what you are capturing.

not really, i just felt since there was alot of pasrameters i had no idea about that i was missing something:) I think it looks good, would probably look better if i used a higher souce footage than dv

I have optical flow in red. i assume its the same one, but a heck of alot of parameters. do you have any settings that i could use for dv besides “best” -
in the course of my crazy day, i am truly uncertain if i saw the ad on the cow or somewhere else, but ithink it was the cow and the only forum i use here is fcp. i wll ask ron, thanks

no, it was a uniqe sounding name, but that wasn’t it. thanks anyway
i wish i could remeber the name, because some of the clips looked good -
did you check to see if the g4 can “see” the new proccessor? go to the system profiler and check. There is a download from sonnet that has to be installed for the mac to see it. also if you installed a new system, you have to reinstall the download. hope that does it.

Its not that bad, just a few things you need to know.
you should have a static and a regular boris option in the generator for moving compositions. also, you have to have the scrubber on a red transition or sequence for it to open. sounds strange but true. -
not true-paul crisp has some free mattes that are great and run up to 64 pt.
