so as I understand it,
for simply working within the project, i should use whatever compression i want, and then when it’s time to finalize my movie, i’ll use compressor?

i’m shooting anamorphic because it’s the only widescreen format that the GL2 shoots in, i mentioned im shooting with a GL2

ok, so what i understand is that I should

1: make a new project, make sure it is in a format that isnt anamorphic (NTSC DV 48khz)?

2: go from there, keep working etc.

HOWEVER

when I export, isnt there some way that it would simply export as a file that is 854X480?, like a ‘pre-stretched’ anamorphic

thanks for your suggestion, but that was the first thing i tried..
it comes out as a 720×480 squashed anamorphic… at the “current settings” setting..
i dont understand..
