Ya, thats the problem. Now i have seen what MPE does for the workflow, i dont really want to go back. So what is a working solution ? We have AJA here and we can do only simple stuff when AJA enabled. So my guess would be Nvidia 4800 with SDI out ?? Or simply put external HDMI converters for SDI monitoring ?

So all the benefit from Mercury Playback is lost when you want to see the output on SDI Grade monitor ?

Maybe its more easy to connect a HDMI/SDI converter directly to your Nvidia Mercury playback graphics card.

  • Vista 64 ? or only win7 ?

    Hi Ann

Thanks, but i dont see how to render when its marked as YELLOW – not RED. So Premiere thinks it can handle it realtime, but this comp surely needs render.

    “Why is that? Adobe production premium = $1699 FCS3 = $999 ”

Yaa MAC and FCP is so GOD like, so you dont need such stupid things as Photoshop, Ilustrator, AE…among others.

    Premiere cost $799.
