I built my own box. What I have is a BenQ DW1625. My PP recognizes the DVD burner.

I received my dvx100a in December 12 and got the check in January 17. I thought that was good.
Now for the long wait for the battery and tapes. (o:

Yes. The settings are for DVX100P though. Having a DVX100A might matter.
I notice the Pro 1.5 is picky. It does not recognize my other Panny. It does recognize the Canopus ADVC-50. I have had problems capturing from my vcrs.
I am glad I have the MotionDV tha came with my GS250.
I hope somebody has similar problem and a solution/workaround.

Thanks. Yes, I made sure it is on.
I also followed a recommendation I read in one other thread where it is suggested to turn off the camera before plugging in the other end of the 1394 plug. It seems that 1394 cables are HOT and can cause a short if it is plug in to a camcorder that is ON.
Here is a quote from the thread:

ron123,
Thanks for the link. These CELs are already in my CD. I was looking for the Samples that was mentioned by Jason Levine in the Total Training tutorial. The samples are ready for use depending on the theme i.e. wedding event. Maybe those samples are only included in his Audition Total Tarning Tutorial DVD.
I am not a musician, so having a “canned” audition clips would be helpful for my videos.
I intend to learn how to mix those loops.
Thanks.

Ron,
Thanks for the link. I will check tonight and see if these are what I am looking for.

If you have the Audition software, it has a feature called pop/click reduction. You can remove all the background noise by sampling/copying the noise and then apply it globally in the soundtrack.
It works very well.

Alan,
I have the other CD also. It has all the loops with CEL extensions on it. Does your CD contains Sample Loops that are already set up for playing? I think one of the sample says wedding sample.

I have the academic version of the Audition 1.5. I can’t find the Sample Loops in the second CD. Is this by design? If so, can I get the Sample Loops from Adobe?
Thanks.

Hi Art,
I have a D915PBL and P4 3.0 Ghz. I am using Premiere Pro 1.5. XP Pro Sp2 with all the updates. I have a matched 1 Gb Corsair memory. The only difference between the PBL and the D955X is dual core and takes the higher (667?)DDR2 speed. The PBL is not dual core and takes only 553 DDR2.
I WAS NOT able to get Pro 1.5 to recognize my Panasonic PV-GS250. It DID recognize my Canopus ADVC-50 for analog capture. I had to use MotionDV, the capture software that came with the Panasonic camcorder to capture from the Panasonic. Nero, Windows Movie Maker, and Roxio software had no problem detecting the PV-GS250. Go figure.
Right now, I am waiting for a replacement D915PBL motherboard. The built in 1394 port seems to be the problem. I am still waiting for the replacement.
I had the mobo only for a month before it failed. I was able to finish one project before it failed on me.
