Thank you so much Aaron.
I will try this if it should happen again. I’m rendering currently and am hoping all is rendered well.
Many thanks,

Hi Everyone:
Thank you so much. Good to know I can try something other than what I’d been doing.
John, if I reset Vegas, will it keep the plugins I have for the media files, like color correction, etc? I’ve also been having some problems with an entire scene where randomly it has blinking blackouts. I’m not sure if I’m explaining it right, but it’s a slower flicker that shows black. Sometimes it comes out in the render and sometimes it does not, but it’s always that particular scene.
Many thanks everyone.
Best,
Debbie

Hi Everyone:
Thank you so much!
This time around, since I am rendering DNxHD, the .mov is better when I render progressive; not so good when I select upper and lower field. My discovery is that the upper field renders a really nice quality picture. Much better than progressive. I have something rendering currently, in progressive. When it’s finished, I would like to try upper field again with the resample deselected.
Many thanks,
Debbie

Could this be right? 126GB I’m going to try it again to see if there is any flickering. I turned off a lot of the background processes through my task manager, as well as my Norton and Internet connection to see it thatmwas the cause for the flickering. I had turned off a lot before, but now I turned off more.
Many thanks.

Thank you Steve and Aaron:
Steve: I don’t have the funds to do this right now, although I would probably have to get the funds later to have someone else do it, since it’s a requirement. Has anyone heard of Rev – Video Captions Service? https://www.rev.com/caption?gclid=CNaW_6m5wsUCFdgKgQodikUAww They charge $1 per minute for all caption projects.
Aaron, are the instructions you gave for the plugin or is this directly through Vegas Pro 12?
Many thanks,
Debbie

May 14, 2015 at 1:10 am in reply to: Spec For ITunes and Amazon Distribution – Uncompressed FileHi John and Steve:
Thank you. I don’t know why it was happening, but now that I was able to render on my D drive, all rendered without crashes. BUT! When I played back the film, there was flicker in places I never had flickering before and the sync was off a bit, which does not happen when I render video and audio separate. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Best,
Debbie

OMG! If you knew how long I’d been working like this. How did I miss this?
Thank you so much. This is really helpful. I hope it renders smoothly from now on. I have a question.
When it does crash, in the Render window, the Sony MFX section is highlighted with same 1920×1080 spec. This happens every time. Has this ever happen to you?
Best,
Debbie
