I’m using OS 10.4.11 and Quicktime 7.4.1 . Quicktime was updated on 7/4/08.

If wouldnt have leaked, I’d say it was a good pruduct, i just don’t see how I could’ve done anything wrong.

Ya , I returned the bag/housing for my money back. But the 30 seconds of footage that I can now look at , looks really nice! It was that 99 dollar bog/housing that B&H carry. I wonder what I did wrong to let that small amount of water in? I even checked it in the sink first.

Its not worth any thing, I was gonna throw it away, but I tried one more time to see if it worked and…. I think its just the battery terminals!

thats what I’ve been doing for a while. Sony cam to G Drive Q via FW 400- G Drive to Powerbook via FW 800. Yes the system would drop frames on occasion, but works over all very well. I’m just wondering if the Extra Bus would make it work Better!

Thanks Tom, i read your reply on the Apple forums just now too!
So the easiest fix seems to be just get a non Canon – capture deck, i.e. a cheap video cam for capture only.
What about useing the E sata port on the G drive? is there a way to plug that into my Powerbook?

Ye sI just noticed that on my new Gl2. I didnt realize that the time code gets recorded over if you rewind and re-record, (kind of!).

Thanks Evil!, do you use a deck for capture or just use the camera. Just wondering how much is too much, when use the cam for capture. Ae there prosumer decks out there/

I’ve had Flip for mac for about a year now, I think I paid $25.00 . It looks like when i updated to 2.2 my version got erased or something and I have to buy it again!
Since I’ve updated , when I go to export using quicktime conversion to Windows Media File, Final Cut Express just ” quits unexpectently” ! I have a email to their support , but no response yet.
What do you think?
