Personally, I like Nikon lens best but I do have a couple of canons. Visit Ken stone’s site on nikon lens. You can learn a lot about these lens there. eBay has a lot of basic lens for sale … look for f1.4 to 2.0 to get good DOF in you images. Good luck

You should consider the SG Blade by Shoot 35 in England. I have this 35mm lens adaptor and it works very well on my ex3 and is in you price range. Specify that you are using this on an ex3. You can get lens mounts for various lens … PL, nikon, and canon are available. great piece of kit.

The transcend 32 gb CF cards have trouble in snow leopard in terms of ejecting from the computer. This problem doesn’t exist for those who simply drag & drop into the trash/eject. I have 2 such cards and have never had a problem with them.
I have had recent problems formatting my SDHC sandisk 32gb (class 10) cards with my EX3 however. This is a problem of the camera not being able to reformat the card after I’ve used it on several occasions. I haven’t figured out what that’s about yet. It’s formatted as fat and still isn’t recognized by the camera. Using a kensington 7-1 reader card.

Apply the ‘Stop motion Blur’ plug-in (FCP has this and I believe all other editing NLS do to.) Try the following settings:
    Time lapse – 1
    Steps – 1
    Initial opacity (52) flexible quality
    Decay opacity – 0
    Blend operator – add

I’ve heard good things about the FM500. I’ve been using the cinetatics matte box. The only drawback is the filter placement system.

digital optics makes a 2X tele-photo lens that is 72mm. I’ve heard nothing but bad reports about the quality of glass. Stick with century optics.

Sounds like a good cam but….it looks like it will have a fixed lens. We’ll get a good look only at NAB.
