telephoto lenses for ag-dvx100
I’m interested in picking up a telephoto lens for my panasonic ag-dvx100 and was hoping that someone might be able to set me in the right direction. I mostly use my camera to shoot skiing and snowboarding and sometimes my subject is too far that the camera’s zoom isn’t enough. The Century Optics telephoto lens seems to be popular but I’ve noticed that there are others on the market that are less expensive. What am I sacrificing if I decide to spend less? Any adive on telephoto lenses for action sports filming with this camera would be much appreciated.

digital optics makes a 2X tele-photo lens that is 72mm. I’ve heard nothing but bad reports about the quality of glass. Stick with century optics.
