Thank you for your help, John. I will do just that.
Now I can finally take the last steps to end this project.

Finally found it. For anyone with that problem in the future: the openGML (avi 2.0) must be set to on. Otherwise Sony Vegas won’t let you render more than 1,99 GB.
Still have that deinterlace question though. Anyone? -
Hi Steve,
How are you?
I think you’re right! However I’ve played it with Quicktime player,
better but not what it should be. I know, it is an uncompressed HD file so it is huge.I’ve placed a copy of the avi on my “C” hard disk (1 TB)and that seems to be better. The external HD (300 GB) it was on, only had 27 GB left. Maybe also that was the problem. Tomorrow I will buy an external 1TB HD and use that to work with High def video. I hope that
wil solve the problem.Thanks again!

Hey Matthew,
Sorry for the late response. I’ve been away.
I think i’ll go for the local dub house.
Thank you for the info !! -
And… I edit with Sony Vegas Pro (don’t know if this is important to know).

My question was already answered on the Sony Vegas part of the forum.
The answer is: yes.
Thanx!

Hey Steve,
Yes, that is the rendering methode I use.
Just didn’t know if PI would accept a Raylight avi file
as a reference. But that’s just what I like so much
about this forum. one always gets a complete answer. So once again I’d like to thank you and I appreciate the time you take for sharing your knwoledge.

Sorry guys,
I just found out that there is also a PI part on this forum.
Guess I was to fast posting this. But still, maybe some Vegas people/users know the answer? -
Wow! I’m sorry guys. I was not aware of the Sony-Panasonic mini-war.
Jr. has a point but so does Jan I think. I’m shure it’s a 2-way street, it always is. But the consumer is (as always) the victim.
If I had known this I would have never bought this cam. Sorry, Vegas is THAT dear to me.Also To Douglas I apologize, I misunderstood his words I guess. My question was “Is it possible to to work with 25pN in Vegas WITH or WITHOUT Raylight” and the answer was “No, it will not”. So I thought it was impossible, even with Raylight. Ofcourse I will buy Raylight if that does the job. But then I’ll need to be shure it works with 720p/25pN. I’ll go and take a look.
Also sorry for the copy of the previous mail in this tread. To be honest, I did not know how else to do it. I’m not used to be on forums other than this one.
Realy, thanks to everybody for the response and advice and let’s hope
that Sony and Panasonic will understand someday that without customers they’re nothing! So why not share a litle?
