    Hello,

Sorry to be here again with a problem. As I said in the previous post
https://forums.creativecow.net/readpost/24/884725 I’m working with High def video in Sony Vegas pro 8(720/25pN,Raylight avi’s)on a pretty heavy machine. The HD’s are 1 TB, NTFS formatted. The project is HDV 720 – 25p (1280×720, 25 fps).

When I try to render an avi with fx on it (to import again in the project), uncompressed, it stops half way with the message “The file being rendered has exeeded the maximum size allowed for the selected format”. Somebody has any suggestions?

    And

in the project settings deinterlace method is set on “Blend fields”. Is that ok for a 720/25pN (24pN in the USA) “film” video or
should it be set to “none”?

Thank you for all the help.
    David

Finally found it. For anyone with that problem in the future: the openGML (avi 2.0) must be set to on. Otherwise Sony Vegas won’t let you render more than 1,99 GB.
Still have that deinterlace question though. Anyone?

    Cheers David,

Thanks for the solution mate, I must’ve turned that option off in error. Was pulling my hair out here.

    Appreciated

    Pete
