    Hello,

I’m not shure if I’m doing this right. I recorded a videoclip with the HVX-201 cameravon P2 cards. Recording format: DVCPRO HD 720P/25PN.
I used Raylight to make the Panasonic MFX files to avi files to import in Sony Vegas Pro 8. The clips are 1280 x 720 x 32, 25fps
These 39 clips were around 10 GB each which is way too big to work with, even with a “heavy” computer. So I converted them using Cineform Neo HDV and that worked great but I propably lost some quality here,no?.

    Now I need to make:
    – a master dvd for the client for viewing on a normal tv
    – a master dvd that will be used to make a digi beta from it.
    – a Blu-ray disc for viewing on a HD television screen
I’m confused about which rendering option I should use for these. I I also think it would be better to render video and audio seperatly, or am I wrong here?
Can anyone be of assistance please?
    Thank you.

Don’t worry the reduction in image quality by converting to
    cineform intermediate is minimal.

That’s also correct…Render your video and audio separately:
Choose a “MPEG2-DVD Video stream template” or your video:
And for your audio “48,000:16Bit:PCM” Template or the ac3
    format.

So give them the same name when rendering, so that when you
import into Architect both audio and video will be linked.
