BTW the TELLY effects are AMAZING as well and while the Motion Graphics for FCP book is mainly for 4.5 or 4.1.1 the workflow’s and howto’s are still the same in FCP 5

it ACTUALLY converts 60i to 24p then re-adds pulldown so you can edit in a 60i timeline

best value for film look filter sets for FCP (and the best tech support and upgrades, both free)

I run Motion off my 9800 128 MB card in my G4 with dual monitors and it if fine
if I need a boost I just use the ATI utillity to disable the second channel on the card (no need to unplug the monitor)

yes the 9800 128 MB card will work in the G5
many of the early releases of them came with that card
