Now I am completey confused. When I import my footage shot at 60 frames in a 24 frame project it already is slowed down. Why do I have to convert it? Is it converting when I import it? When I create a project at 60 frames and import it it needs to be rendered and is still slow motion. The video clip in the bin says the Vid Rate is 23.98.
    I’m lost.

I am learning on an Adrenaline. I can see it is a good system but sometimes I just want to adjust something in the timeline like I would in FCP and feel I have my hands tied behind my back. Quick question, is there a way to copy a clip in the timeline and paste it so it overwrites instead of pushing everything? Shift cammand v in FCP.

allright Andy, I figured out what I was doing wrong. I was trying to change the audio in the sequence instead of in the viewer. When I activate all audio in the multiclip in the bin then switch the audio from angle 1 to 2 in teh viewer in changes it in the sequence. The manual is terrible in explaining multiclips.

You can’t just change the audio on a multiclip. It must be a multiclip sequence which I can’t do becasue I don’t have matching timecode.

Just import the tune into imovie then output the song as a QT file. Don’t bother with wasting a cd.

yeah. that was pretty stupid of me. for some reason I felt that the actual QT files on the disk would stay and read that they are offline. But to recapture all I need is the logging info in FCP.
I think I need to wake up this morning.
    thanks.
