The capture media is a Gdrive Raid with 4 Sata drives.
There’s nothing wrong with the file system on it.
It was checked with diskwarrior.

I use a triple 2Tera SATA II Raid 0 that sits inside the MacPro. Blackmagic’s testdrive give me 185MBS, almost enough for Full uncompressed HD..
I cant tell if it was green/green, or green/yellow. will check it out later this week. I tasted this files on another, Avid qulified Machine (MacPro 3.0Ghz Dual Dual core), with the same results.

These very same files plays flawlessly in quicktime at full screen on the same Machine, Even from their original Drive, a 800FW 1Tera Lacie drive.

I also tested the whole thing without the DNA (MojoDX) connected.

Anyone can confirm that it actually works?

I tried your advice about importing Targa sequence, but I get an Error that says “unrecognized file” in FCP 6.04. import the same sequence via Quicktime, works.

any Ideas?

Well,
It seems that Avid MCs doesn’t like some features of that Asus M.B, so I disabled the JMicron EIDE controller at BIOS level, and tried again from a SATA CD player, and …Walla… it works like a charm !

I, f course, was referring to PlayBack issues. I sent mail to Black Magic on this, they haven’t got back to me yet..
Changing the setup to “faster..” is a bit helping, but I guess We’ll have to wait to Black Magic on this one.
