RAM preview with AFX 7 unde MacPro
Hi,
RAM preview doesn’t seems to work well (Not RealTime) On MacIntels?
I use a 2 X Dualcore 2.66Ghz with 4Giga RAM, and a Black Magic HD Extreme
Video card. AFX 6.5 is running O.K and RAM preview is perfect there.
Under AFX 7 I’ll get maximum 21-22 FPS (Need 25..), but if i’ll turn off video
Previewing via the Black Magic, it will run in 25.AnyOne..?

… but if you’re talking about a RAM preview’s not playing back at full frame rate at full res, yes, that’s a new issue with 7 and decklink, I (and others) have found.
Try setting your video preview pref to “faster”, and/or matching the 16:9 or 4:3 setting to your 16:9 or 4:3 comp format … all in the prefs.

I, f course, was referring to PlayBack issues. I sent mail to Black Magic on this, they haven’t got back to me yet..
Changing the setup to “faster..” is a bit helping, but I guess We’ll have to wait to Black Magic on this one.
