    Thanks, Ryan.

    Is there a way to
re-format the card so it accepts unlimited
file sizes? It is a 64 GB ProMaster card.

BTW, the footage is from a C100.

Well, my workarounds so far include MPEG Streamclip for the DSLR and Clipwrap for the C100 and they seem to be doing the trick. Moving forward, what will I not be able to do – what cameras will I not be able to use?

    Shane,
Thanks for the reply. Looks like I just got nervous. I rebooted everything and let the hard drive
rest for 10 min. and it works OK now.

But it brings up the larger question – is it just plain silly to keep using Final Cut 7 in the HD world?

    Thanks, John.

Should have mentioned I am on FCP 7.

Question about Plural Eyes: I had 20 small
DSLR clips but when I converted them to ProRes 422 they
became one long, continuous clip. Does Plural Eyes require the
20 original small clips or can it work with the larger,
    converted ones?

Sounds like PhotoMotion is the best one, so I have been watching the
    tutorials.

I have 400 photos cropped and ready to go,
with transitions, in a FCP sequence.

Is there a workflow where I can animate all or many of these by
dragging pre-made animations into individual photos? Dragging
multiple animations at a time would be even better.

    The photos already
have transitions between them – I will need the pans and zooms to start at frame
one of the beginning transition and end at the last frame of the outgoing
    transition.

Basically, I’m asking if there is a quick way to get the pans and zooms into
    the sequence.

    Thanks.
