By motion trail I mean a stutter effect – image follows itself – repeats – makes you
a little dizzy to watch it. The borders are not solid. Are you suggesting just edit the
project again with the newly converted Pro Res footage?

Dave,
This is different from the stroboscopic effect – this
is more like the logo is having an out of body
experience. A copy of the logo, at about 50%
opacity, is circling around the original.

Thanks, Dave. Did not know that about vectors.
I had the client save as png and select transparent
background. Looks OK and edges are OK. Is there
a way to save with even better edges and transparent
background?

Thanks, Jeff. Did not know about LTO.
My concern is simply all originals and backups
being in one location. I was thinking cloud was
best alternative. But you are right – it’s crazy
expensive.
Will look into LTO. Will also calculate cost of regular
OWC 2 TB drives stored at a friend’s house.

Sounds like Backblaze mirrors your drives – drawback is that if the drive is external, you have to hook it up once every 30 days. I want to back up several TB that are on external drives – do you know of a service that will do this?
