I did a complete clean install of 10.8.5 from the ground up and it appears there was an issue with the first update. All is working now. Appears to be an isolated issue.

Count me in! That magnetic timeline can be a real pain at times. Would also like to see the color wheels brought back. Apple did re-invent the wheel only it became a square. Curves would also be very much welcome. Something that Motion is lacking as well.

Very interesting and thanks for the post. Anyone else notice the Black Magic camera in one of the photos? Also, is that a screen shot of the new Final Cut Pro X? In the event Apple throws in the camera and FCP X (new version) for free with the new Mac Pro life would be great. I guess I would just settle for FCP X being thrown in. Call me a day dreamer but this would be one dream I want to come true.

My Top 10 List:
1. Make it subscription based only — just kidding!!!
2. I like the idea of a hybrid timeline
3. Add individual sliders for color correction
Example: Shadows, mid and highlight for each channel
4. Bring back the color wheel, the box very much annoys me
5. Add curves
6. Allow key frames for color correction
7. The ability to disable connected clips
8. Real three-point editing
9. Bring back Send to Motion, please!
10. Give Motion its X -
Look on the bright side as there will be Resolve X 🙂

That would be nice! No more avoiding Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop because of the dark storm cloud — subscription only model.
Was really looking for to After Effects and Premiere Pro CS7 but not anymore. I would love to see Resolve become an alternative and based on the direction it is taking it could be.
