  • mucho gracies guys!!! also, is there an expression that throws values more abruptly?? wiggle just seems pretty smooth…i wouldnt mind something that jumps from intensity of 50% to 115% nearly instantly and changes values very quickly…

do you think its wiser to seperate all the body parts into layers rather than hav all of them on one layer??

if i seperate the body parts, should i parent everything to the torso maybe?

January 2, 2008 at 4:46 pm in reply to: realistic lightbulb flashing?

    hello, thanks for the help.

I think you misunderstood me a bit. im not looking for a gradual light to turn on…im literally just trying to create the illusion of the lightbulb being cutoff for split seconds… i tried flares and everything else but cant make a realistic light that will keep jumping up and down in exposure/intensity… I havent got the time, nor the equipment to video tape a real light bulb and then rotoscope it to fit my composition…

    thanks,

    david.

VERY HELPFUL!!! i’ve done a bit of action scripting on flash and was wondering how similar that is to AE expressions… is there any text source or good website where i can learn more about expressions for AE?
