No tricks Paul,

I go about it in a long but proven way. I take the QT clips from my mac and load them on my windows computer and run them through Procoder for the occasional wmv clip. Not terribly often though.

The nanoflash will record in the following manner in HD:

1. 35 Mbps = Full-Raster (1920×1080/1280×720) 4:2:0 Long-GOP (XDCAM EX)
2. 50 Mbps = Full-Raster (1920×1080/1280×720) 4:2:2 Long-GOP (XDCAM 422, 50
Mbps and above)
3. 100 Mbps = Full-Raster (1920×1080/1280×720) 4:2:2 Long-GOP (Master Quality)
4. 140 Mbps = Full-Raster (1920×1080/1280×720) 4:2:2 Long-GOP (Master Quality)
5. 160 Mbps = Full-Raster (1920×1080/1280×720) 4:2:2 Long-GOP (Master Quality)
6. 100 Mbps = Full-Raster (1920×1080/1280×720) 4:2:2 I-Frame
7. 140 Mbps = Full-Raster (1920×1080/1280×720) 4:2:2 I-Frame
8. 160 Mbps = Full-Raster (1920×1080/1280×720) 4:2:2 I-Frame (Master Quality)
9. 220 Mbps = Full-Raster (1920×1080/1280×720) 4:2:2 I-Frame (Master Quality)

What do you think is the best way for me to record? Of course I will carry out a thorough test and post my findings but if you had any ideas now, that would help.

Great to see that you (meaning you and the Media 100 team) are ALWAYS watching and addressing user feedback for an ever improving product that I have been a fan of since the original Version 2 on the old 8800 mac!

I started to grab a file but was rudely interrupted by a client wanting to spend money my way!!!! What a cheek! Seriously, I will upload a file tomorrow for you. Thanks for asking and for your patience. Must look after our clients first.

Went through the motions of uninstall of V13 then I uninstalled Suite V1, reinstalled V1 but no luck in trying to import QT files WITH their associated audio. Still only imports the video file only.

Hi Floh,

One type was a DVCAM format QT clip transferred from XDCAM 330 camera. I had about 100+ of these clips to import from a job shot last week.

The other was a HD ProRez 422HQ self contained FCP QT clip of a music video.

I could send a short QT clip on You Send It but can you test your V1 by importing a QT file (assuming you have one of course) into V1.

Another point to note was the installation of V1 did not offer me an uninstall of V13, unlike previous upgrades. Could there be an issue there or is there a V1 bug?

Is there anyone else who could run a quick test please?
