Haven’t experienced the crashiness with them yet, but I have seen a step-framiness when these looks are applied to any given shot that is annoying. I have an AMD Radeon HD 6970M 2048 MB on my iMac.

Thanks – I discovered the option for 5.1 in the export window finally when selecting uncompressed audio. However, unlike FCP 7 where you can create multiple audio configs, it looks like we’re limited in CC to mono, stereo, or 5.1. My problem with this is that I frequently have to output a QT file with more than just 5.1 audio on it – it may have the 5.1 mix, plus the stereo DME as well. Don’t know how I can do that here.

I’ve had a couple of crashes, but fortunately the program managed to save my project file both times before exiting, so it was just a minute or two of time lost while crashing and reopening; no actual work lost.

I have an audio issue, however, that I will deal with in a separate thread.

This has been one of my problems w PPro in general, as I need to export QT files w multiple audio configurations quite frequently. As a trailer editor, I need to export a 5.1 mix on the first 6 channels, then often the LtRt comp on the next 2, and sometimes the M&E comp after that. I haven’t seen any indication that PPro CC can handle this easily, but of course I don’t have the software yet to confirm that. I have had to take my video out of PPro CS 6 and bring it into good ‘ol FCP 7, where such an audio export configuration is relatively easy.

Have you really been able to export successfully this way?

  • Will be interesting to see if there’s added support for video cards (6970M anyone?)…

Ah. It looks to be pilot error, ladies and gentlemen. I was applying the filter to an outdated layered multicamed timeline…when I “revealed in project” from my nested multicamed timeline, it became suddenly clear and I put the filter in there – voila! Thanks anyway..!

Thanks for your reply. Yes, QT player does mess with the gamma a bit, but really my biggest problem now is just getting the color correction filter I had placed on one angle in my layered multicamed timeline updated in my assembled timeline with the nested multicam. That’s what is really driving me crazy and making me unable to output and finish this project.

To add to my dilemma further…

The 3 way color correction filter that I applied to Geena’s camera on my multicamed timeline no longer updates on my assembled timeline with my multicamed media nested as a file…I don’t get it. The filter did update for a while, but now it doesn’t. Yes, I exited and restarted. Same problem.
