Try this. Press space bar and wait for a bit. Sometimes the playback will get ahead of itself and pausing the playback will allow it to “catch up”. I would NOT disable auto-save if you are having freeze-ups. I recommend that you pause, save, and continue editing frequently to make sure you do have the most up to date edits in case of freeze.

I found the solution:
Edit> Switches> Lock
or
Right Click> Switches> LockNot sure how it got to Lock status, but it is possible to lock multiple (or all clips) at once. I hope this helps for anyone who encounters this in the future! Thanks!

I read this post earlier and have a similar issue. It is not a mute/solo issue. This one happened on one event only. I cannot move, split, edit or transition this clip. It plays though. Here is a screen grab.

I use the small triangle node below the scrub control – drag it all the way to the right to set default playback at 4x speed, then use ENTER to playback at 4x and L to playback at 1x. You have to reset the node each time you restart Vegas though. Let me know if that helps.

In DVD Architect, you can set the End Action for the menu to Auto-play on the right side by choosing End Action> Command> Activate Button then change Timeout to the however long you want the menu to show before the Auto-play starts. You can change which button will activate as well. Let me know if this helps. Thanks!

I usually start with keyframes at the beginning and end, then add keyframes at points that are staying where they need to be, then spot add keyframes to make minor changes as needed. The idea is to use as few keyframes as possible while still getting the results you need. It looks like you are very close on this. It looks good. A few added points might get you where you need to be. Very nice work on this!
