Not sure if I’m following your need but if you replace the AI items in the project with new files, they will be replaced in the comps. Magic.

Matching skin tone is best done with makeup by a makeup artist who understand video. Trying to do it in post is absurd.
Using AE, you’re completely free to move, rotate, scale, and edit the lips clips but trying to motion track the footage is silly. Much easier to do the whole effect if you have the model’s head steadied somehow. Gaffer tape?bogiesan

[Jose Laya] “They need me to have the audio channels 1&2 duplicated into 3&4,”
Option-drag.

You must have the colored bar for audio actually selected in those dropdowns and you must have your audio render disk set and there has to be room on it.
We see this question often and I still do not know why. but we do see it so you can search for the topic and similar terms. sorry can’t give you a firm answer myself but someone else might show up over the next day or more. Luck.

Fire the photog. Whoever shot the tape used the LP mode.
You will need to obtain the camera to do this capturing.bogiesan

Hope you get better advice but be sure to check the Boris forum. If you get an answer there, please post it here, too.
Sorry can’t help you directly.bogiesan

March 27, 2009 at 2:59 pm in reply to: Optical Flow at on 10% speed – frames jump backwardThis suggests the footage originated on film or a 24p source. You’re seeing some kind of field mismatch or a pulldown error. A pulldown error can be removed. Maybe. that involves much more research on your part, I’ve never had to attempt that stuff. but the manuals are full of pulldown references.
Give the pulldown wonks a few more days to drop in while you’re doing your own searches.

Then I’d say photograph a chalkboard with a good DSLR at about 10mp. You don’t really need nearly that much rez but you need to shoot a long enough shot to include the edges. You should be able to locate a chalkboard in several older schools, maybe even the oldest lecture hall at a local university. You can shoot a green board and change the color. What you’re after is a good collection of textures, damage, and dust.
You really do not need to make this a 3D scene according to your description. You can achieve the same camera simulation by moving the anchor point of your main comp, the hone that contains all of the precomps or nested elements. I’m just suggesting you don’t exert more energy/expense than necessary.
Good luck on this, sounds like fun. Start another thread if you need more advice.

Do not forget to try Change Color, color Link, or Stabilize Color.

the task rather depends on your total dimensional needs and whether you mean “chalkboard” or “whiteboard.” A black or green chalkboard requires a large surface since it will, in the real world, be covered with dust, partial erasures, defects, damage. Whiteboards tend to have their own defects but generally could be edge-repeated. Consider how the photos will be attached to the surface; glue, magnets, tape? Does the paper they are printed upon cast shadows? Do they flutter in a breeze? How are your “sayings” attached tot he surface? Are they handwritten with chalk?
Is the scene totally flat or do you intend to simulate window or room lighting?
What’s your release media?
If it’s just DV, a 2k chalkboard can hold a lot of stuff about 25 full-frame DV thingies. A 4k image can hold 16 times as much stuff.bogiesan
