    Yes – DSR 45 on the FW 400 port and 2 external drives daisy chained on the FW 800 port.

    I have been using the Macbook Pro 17 for a month now (with dv 25 footage) and have had no issues like that at all…

    I’m strictly using the basic dv25 codec from dv cam into fcp – edit and then encode…can’t find anything except possible using filters to compensate (which is not appropriate in my opinion)

    I don’t actually spend too much time watching the computer…this things boots in moments as opposed to minutes…come to think of it…why is that?
