Thanks Bret, I’m shocked I’ve never run into this before. Motion won’t do this either. I’ll have to find a Lens flare built as a movie with an Alpha.

Where talking about FCP X right? Where in the project setting would you set this?
FYI, the project – timeline exports with a alpha channel when I remove the Lens Flare.

Yes Render format is PR4444

You should be able to hold the tilde key and slip the video without affecting the audio.

Yeah, I’m seeing the same thing here.

[Oliver Peters] “It appears that the notes column in the Event bowser does not apply to a Project. If you enter a note in the browser next to a Project listing it will not appear in the inspector.”

Smart Sync (full version) will back up just what’s changed inside the package. I’ve e-mailed the developers with suggestions. Each time within a week they implemented my suggestions.
It can be found on the App Store.

I downloaded the latest version per tech support’s suggestion. Still no love. When I add the SliceX effect I have no on-screen controls and when I twirl down the effect in the inspector there’s no sliders available.
